With increasing numbers of tourists dropping in to convenience stores for the wonderful food and snacks available, many convenience stores are now installing (a few) seats and a bench where you can sit and eat/drink for a short while.
That’s useful because if you wander off with a pack of snack food or a drink, you’ll struggle to find any trash bins to throw away empty cans or wrappers into.
